John Warburton – Creative Strategic Director
John graduated from York University (UK) with Honours in 1982. Over the last 25 years, he has held numerous positions in the communications business.
His experience spans copywriting and creative direction roles at a wide range of advertising agencies. These include RKH (UK), George Patterson Bates, Mattingly, Ogilvy & Mather, Y & R, Clemenger Harvie and McCann-Erickson.
In the Year 2000, he established The Hired Pen. The initial focus was on providing high-level copywriting services to advertising and design companies. Reflecting the increasing demand for creative strategy and fresh brand thinking, The Hired Pen was recently repositioned Fresh Eyes Worldwide.
John has worked on a diverse range of high profile brand campaigns for leading clients such as Australia Post, Australian Unity, BMW, Bosch, Coles Myer, CUB, Federal & Victorian Governments, GE Money, GMH, Landcom, Meat & Livestock Australia, Medibank Private, Mitsubishi, NEC, Origin Energy, RACV, Telstra, Tattersall’s, VicUrban, Village Roadshow and Yellow Pages.

Rosie Cass – Client Services Director
After studying photography at RMIT, Rosie further developed her profession at the acclaimed Brian Brandt and Decent Exposure studios.
In 1983 Rosie moved into the film and television industry working on Australian films and TV series for companies such as Crawford Productions and Paramount Pictures.
Over the last two decades, Rosie has been involved in the production of over 1,000 commercials worldwide. The client list including Nike, CUB, Myer, BMW, Mercedes, American Express, Coke, Yellow Pages, Cadbury Schweppes and Qantas.
A fully accredited yoga teacher with a Bachelor of Science Degree, Rosie has a particular passion for research and health related projects.
